Our coaching team are here to ensure that our swimmers learn the rules and techniques of swimming in a safe manner whilst helping them to enjoy the experience.

At Trojan we ensure that all coaches have relevant qualifications and experience in order to help develop our swimmers, whilst we ensure all coaching staff and poolside helpers have undergone relevant PVG/ Disclosure checks in accordance with Scottish Swimming guidelines.

The coaching team will happily answer any questions regarding techniques employed and your swimmers progression, they do however deserve to be treated with respect both by swimmers and parents for the position which they hold. In return the coching team will ensure that:

• They are good role model

• Each swimmer is respected as an individual and as a member of Trojan

• Put each swimmers needs ahead of winning or achieving goals

• Provide a fair and non bullying environment

• Make sure equipment provided is safe to use and proper instruction is given on its use.

• Ensure that training and competitive swimming is fun.
